Craig & Carol have owned and operated a custom home building and remodeling business for over 30 years.  A number of years ago, the needs of an elderly parent led Craig on a path to find a solution for accessibility issues, in particular, easy & safe access to a bathtub.  After several weeks  searching, the perfect solution was found in the TubcuT® product and process.  After a number of conversations with the inventor, developer and owner of Access Designs, Inc., the home of The TubcuT®, Craig recognized that there was a need within the growing senior community as well as within the handicapped community and others with special needs for this product. Because of his years of experience in seeking out quality and innovative products and ideas for his custom homes, he was convinced that this was the premier product offering a proven, affordable and safe solution for these groups of people.  His desire to be able to be of help to them moved him to become a Certified Dealer/Installer for the TubcuT® product.

Carol’s background in administrative support and working with people enables her to reach out to the seniors, retirement community facilities and organizations serving the senior community.  She is able to provide an educational base of solutions to enable seniors to be able to stay in their homes longer, as well as enable facilities and communities to provide safe access to bathtubs.  Having been a caregiver, her concern is extended to the caregivers as well as there are often physical obstacles to providing care safely, sometimes putting the caregiver at risk of stress and physical strain or injury.  Providing solutions for these obstacles will reduce that risk factor for both the client and the caregiver.

A nationwide telephone survey of 2,000 midlife and older Americans, conducted by the AARP has found that 67% of those making changes or modifications to their homes believe doing so will allow them to live there longer than they would have otherwise been able to - most for another 10 or more years and it is our purpose and desire to be able to assist older Americans in realizing this goal.  To that end, we desire to enable our clients to become more self-sufficient, confident and safe in their own homes.
